Finished half of a commission by .. it came out ok i guess.. however, coloring this convinced me to lay off the Crayola pencils x.o.. not very vibrant colors, and with enough pressure, they make a weird texture for layering further coloring on.. which is very very hard if not impossible to fix. Hell, the only reason I chose to color with Crayolas was because they have a decent cream color and I know I can shade it.. and I dont like to mix brands too often.. but i might just start doing that again.. Also added that ink outline because I felt her overall silhouette wasnt popping enough from the whiteness of the papaer. Oh well, I hope she likes it
Crayola pencils and micron on cardstock.
but you MAKE your crayolas vibrant! lol!
For some reason the ear really catches me. I'm not sure why, but there's something so appealing about the way it's done (as odd as that may sound o.o'). I love the motion in this particular picture as well, it's got life and excitement! The way it looks as though a sudden movement has just happened and the hair seems to still be being pulled by that motion really adds that extra dramatic feel to the picture.

Phwee! Wonderful as usual. I love the way you do the wings, the fur and.. everything. You must have worked hard to get such amazing skills. Lots of praticing I bet. I was wondering... do you have any reasons for using cardstock? Does it make a nice blending effect the the pencil crayons or did you use a blending marker? Sorry if my questions seem stupid. I'm still learning a bit about different media. But anyway, I have to say again, wonderful! You must pour your soul into your artwork. You must be heartbraked and pissed when you discover any art stealers.
Your art is always so vibrant and beautiful! I love looking at your gallery. ^_^
This picture is awesome! You can easily tell she wants you to back away, and not mess with her. Once again, I love how you do your wings!
`sqweels loudly and eees..and hugs Huskie` Oh my gosh..sorry for the excitement xD. I'm so happy now, this has made my day! I love it, and everything is so perfect! I'm so glad I commissioned you, I'm so happy I did. xD I love it. Thank you thank you! n.n Your coloring skills always impress me..and I like the blood on the bandage there.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
