My finished half of an art trade with of her rat/wolf hybrid, Raseri :3 It was interesting for me to try and draw such a hybrid.. i took a couple libertied with her limbs but.. i hope Zigz don't mind >.>
I got the initial drawing and inked outline done way back in March.. but then i was stuck on how i wanted to 'finish' it :/ I liked the lineart, but i had drawn the sketch in non-photo blue pencil so, it wouldnt erase well.. and i was thinking about transferring it onto new paper with my lightbox but.. blah.. havent been wanting to fuck with that for a while now..
but, it was so close to being done, i decided to experiment: I colored in the ink drawing in colored pencils, then when that was done since the coloring wouldnt be able to stand alone in my opinion, i hatched all over her in .005 micron pen :3 i think it worked out alright.. colors and crosshatching n.n
I hope she likes :3

Oh yes! forgot to mention i used gote gel pen hatching over parts as well as for the shine in her eyes n.n

That, is awesome. I think you did very well in merging the two species together, my first thoughts were "Been a long time since I've seen a rat." and "but that head looks a little too wolf-ish to be a rat..."

So, job well done. =D

the crosshatching over the coloring looks really nice :D
i especially like the eye..it really stands out..and the hand-like paws. <3

This is amazing. You do ratty things so well! Soooo beautiful.
The hands and feet are awesome (I still have trouble with hands and feet, of any species, but particularly rats because they're kinda like little squashy deformed human hands)
The tail is perfect too, its as close to a real rat's tail as I think anyone could get.
